  • Update on "micropup" sea lion discovered inside California restaurant

    (FOXNEWS)--The hungry sea lion discovered by employees of a California restaurant Thursday morning is being closely watched by animal experts at the SeaWorld San Diego Animal Rescue Center as they nurse the mammal back to health.  The sea lion is considered a "micropup" because the eight-month-old animal is only about half its normal weight. Right now it weighs 20 pounds, but caregivers say it should weigh 40-50 pounds in the wild.
