Help Stop Child Abuse in Michiana

ROOFSIT 2009 FOR CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION

14th annual event hopes to raise community awareness

Beginning Monday, June 22nd at 6am, for the 14th consecutive year U93donates an entire week of on air time to help educate the  community and raise donations for educational and preventive programs in the Michiana area. Rob and AJ of the Rob and AJ Show on U93 live and broadcast from the Martin’s Supermarket roof at State Road 23 and Ironwood for the entire week.  The week is filled with real people affected by child abuse and neglect, and some of the counselors, nurses, doctors, lawyers and agencies that  help to educate and battle this dire tragedy in our community. Along with on-site donations and local business contributions,  there are many special events to raise money during the week.   We are asking for your support to help generate the much needed  community awareness to stop child abuse in Michiana.  Roofsit has raised over 1.7 million dollars to aid in the fight against child  abuse. All monies raised stay within the U93 listening area.

Help be a part of the solution. It shouldn’t hurt to be a child.
