For the General Election:
As a registered voter in Indiana, you are eligible to vote absentee-in-person at your county election board office, beginning October 8th and ending November 5th at noon. Please contact your county election office to find out where and when to go. (Note: if the clerk’s office is closed for Columbus Day the first day to vote absentee in the clerk’s office is Tuesday, October 9).
In order to vote absentee-by-mail, one of the following must apply:
- You have a specific, reasonable expectation that you will be absent from the county on Election Day during the entire 12 hours that the polls are open (6 am to 6 pm).
- You have a disability.
- You are at least 65 years of age.
- You will have official election duties outside of your precinct. 5. You are scheduled to work at your regular place of employment during the entire 12 hours that the polls are open.
- You will be confined due to illness or injury or you will be caring for an individual confined due to illness or injury during the entire 12 hours that the polls are open.
- You are prevented from voting because of a religious discipline or religious holiday during the entire 12 hours that the polls are open. 8. You are a participant in the state’s address confidentiality program. 9. You are a member of the military or a public safety officer.
- You are eligible to vote at a precinct or former residence under a fail safe procedure in IC 3-10-11 or IC 3-10-12.

EARLY VOTING INFORMATION
In-person early voting available? No
By mail early voting available? No
For the General Election:
You can cast an absentee ballot in-person at your local clerk's office - if you are:
- age 60 years old or older
- unable to vote without assistance at the polls
- expecting to be out of town on election day
- in jail awaiting arraignment or trial
- unable to attend the polls due to religious reasons
- appointed to work as an election inspector in a precinct outside of your precinct of residence
Note: If you registered to vote by mail and this is the first election you are participating in, you are not eligible to cast an absentee ballot. This restriction does not apply to overseas voters, voters who are handicapped or voters who are 60 years of age or older.
