  • Patel trial pushed back to January after feticide charges added

    The trial date for Purvi Patel has been pushed back a fifth time.The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office had their motion to add a charge of feticide approved by Judge Hurley on Tuesday. In response, Patel's defense motioned for a continuance to allow time to prepare for the new charges. That motion was granted, and on Friday the new trial was scheduled for Jan. 22. Patel is next due in court in December for her record date.

  • Indiana University student found dead at sorority house

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -FOX59 in Indianapolis is reporting a student died at the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority house on IU's campus Thursday night. According to IU spokesman Mark Land a student was found dead at the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority house around 8 p.m. Foul play is not suspected. The sorority is located at 1020 N. Jordan Ave. IU is in the process of notifying the student's parents.
