    April is National Donate Life Month.It's an effort to get more people signed up as organ donors. There are over 120,000 people across the nation that are on the waiting list for an organ transplant. Memorial Hospital in South Bend held a donor registration drive Wednesday.

There have been seven homicides since January 1.The South Bend Common Council's Health and Public Safety committee met Tuesday and a big concern that came up is manpower on the police force.
