  • Thomas to serve 55 years for deadly Christmas Eve shooting

    One of two men charged in a deadly South Bend shooting that took place last Christmas Eve will spend 55 years in prison.  Bruce Thomas appeared in a St. Joseph County courtroom Thursday for a sentencing hearing on a conviction for Murder in the shooting death of Clevee Chick. Thomas, 24, was convicted earlier this month, and was sentenced to 55 years in prison.

    A group of Michigan State University students are spending three months studying in Detroit and working to help fix some of the city's challenges.

  • State Police investigating officer-involved shooting in North Webster

    Indiana State Police (ISP) are investigating after a reported road rage incident led to an officer-involved shooting in North Webster. State Police sent out a release Wednesday night detailing a series of events that begin with a call to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department about a road rage incident in Syracuse. Police say the incident began around 6:00pm near the Pride gas station on State Rd. 13.
