So, the holidays are approaching and we kicked off the season with Dinner on the Mayflower, our food drive to help the Center for the Homeless. As we started some questioned whether or not we'd be able to have an impact, since the economy is so slow. The On-Air Staff and Center staff, said "Yes, we'll be good! The people in this area are very supportive." WE WEREN'T WRONG!! Three days of having the trailer at Walmart on Indian Ridge, we were able to collect a very bountiful amount!! THANK YOU!!! Currently the Center for the Homeless is serving 8,000 meals a month and has 200 occupants, your donation ensures the vision of the Center for the Homeless to take care of the community and break the cycle of homlessness.
