    The community continues to grieve a toddler's death. A prayer vigil was held Thursday night for John Swoveland, Jr. Dozens of people gathered at Coquillard Park to pray and remember the little boy. They also talked about ways to end to the violence.   • Mt. Baldy to remain closed this summer

    A popular destination will remain closed this summer. Mt. Baldy at the Indiana Dunes National Lake Shore will be off limits. A six-year-old boy nearly lost his life there last year. He was rescued after getting trapped in a hole. Scientists have been trying to figure out why the holes are forming but they need more time to do their work.Mount Baldy, its parking lot, trail, and the beach in front of the dune will be closed this summer to allow them to investigate.

    Leaders with The Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Joe County are offering their suggestions to curb the violence. They held a news conference Thursday to talk about the programs available to teens.There is a specific area for teens to hang out in after school at the location on Sample Street.
