    Fall is in full swing and that means it's apple season. This weekend people are celebrating the fruit at the 39th annual Nappanee Apple Festival. They're serving the state's largest apple pie-coming in at 7 feet and a mere 800 slices. There's plenty of entertainment too...everything from pie-eating contests to carnival rides to tractor pulls. Of course there are apples everywhere.

    The Wayne County Medical Examiner says the remains of a decomposed body found stuffed inside a 55-gallon plastic drum at a Detroit-area storage facility were that of a Warren woman reported missing earlier this year.

  • Mishawaka Police search for shooting suspect after teen is shot and injured

    Early Saturday, Mishawaka Police were still searching for a man they say shot a teenager in the face. The shooting happened around midnight in the 800 block of West Sixth Street, behind Saylor's Pizza in Mishawaka. Division Chief of Services Steve Ravotto of the Mishawaka Police say the suspect is a while male, last seen wearing a Notre Dame sweatshirt. The Division Chief tells FOX28 News that they believe they know who suspect is, and that no gun was found in the vicinity of the shooting.The...
