  • State Police investigating Mayor's Chief of Staff

    The investigation into South Bend Chief of Staff Kathryn Roos is widening. A citizen watchdog group alleged earlier this month Roos misused city resources.They said she had public employees build the back patio of her private home.The Indiana State Police have now taken on the investigation.The City's Legal Department was investigating, but on Friday they sent a letter to the Common Council letting them know the State Police is taking over.
