    As the start of school gets closer, some teachers in Elkhart are getting ready for class. Starting Monday, July 28, 2014 and continuing over the following two weeks, ETHOS Science Center is hosting 75 area educators as they take part in intensive professional development activities.

    Police say a toddler crashed a Jeep into an Oregon home, then ran back to his home to watch cartoons.

  • Cass County Fair gets things underway

    People in Cass County are happy because their county fair has kicked off. The lucky folks that showed up on Sunday got in for free. It is the 163rd year for the fair and as always it offers a variety of events.

  • New Elkhart store opened to honor owner's son

    A new Elkhart store is trying to help man's best friend. Scrapper's Rescue located off Cassopolis Street is a new retail and consignment store. Where it differs from others is that proceeds from the store help local service dogs.
