  • Police investigating suspicious fire at Mishawaka business

    St. Joseph County Police are investigating an early morning fire at a business in Mishawaka. Crews responded to reports of a car on fire just after 4:30am Thursday on Executive Drive. By the time they arrived on scene, officials found the blaze that begun in an abandoned car had spread to a nearby business: Laidig Concrete.

  • Shooting on LaSalle Avenue in South Bend

    Police are reporting a shooting on the 900 block of W. LaSalle Avenue. They say one man has been shot in his arm. It appears to be non-life threatening. FOX28 will provide the latest information when it becomes available. 

  • Goshen Police respond to call regarding animals that appeared abandoned and neglected

    The Goshen Police Department responded to a call on Thursday afternoon regarding animals that appeared to be abandoned or neglected. Officers responded to the call on the 400 block of 8th Street and found several cats and dogs in need of care.

  • Disc Golf Tourney coming to South Bend August 2nd

    A week from Saturday, there is a big disc golf tournament coming to South Bend. It's called the Bacon Classic and organizers are using it to help fund improvements to the course in South Bend. The Doubles Tournament is August 2nd. It's only $40 for a team and you get 2 rounds of 18 holes. They'll start registration at 7:30 with tee time around 9 am.
