    Leader Publications reports Billy Rotzien, a World War II veteran, will receive his 70-year membership honor on Friday, May 8th. It coincides with Rotzien's 97th birthday. Commander Richard Best will present the certificate at an event hosted by the American Legion Post 51 in Buchanan.

  • Local curator will give free lecture at Dogwood festival

    Leader Publications report Elkhart's Midwest Museum of American Art will bring some paintings to the Dogwood Fine Arts Festival. The curator Brian Byrn will host a talk on the value of visual art on American culture. It will take place 7p.m. on Tuesday, May 12th.
